The new Monet… K. Moné
Okay, so I am not really claiming that I am on the same playing field as Claude Monet!!!
But the fact that my name is Moné and I am an artist is a bit ironic wouldn’t you say?! Allow me to introduce myself…
Born in ‘83 in small town Kentucky, I have always been a bit of an odd duck. A Black American and Puerto Rican little person growing up in the Midsouth, I have never really fit in anywhere.
Thus, finding my own way has always been a theme in my life. Creativity has always been an outlet for me whether it be drawing, writing, photography, makeup, etc. However, it has taken most of my life to have the confidence to call myself an artist.
So here I am! Stepping out in faith and confidence to show the world who K. Moné is through my art, creations, writings, and photography.
